  • 2015 Citywide Graphic Arts Competition!

    Compete in the Annual Citywide Graphic Arts Competition!

    You can compete against students from all over the city for prizes and a trophy that demonstrates how talented you are! This year's theme is "My City." International students come from many countries, many cities and many neighborhoods - so this is a very interesting topic to design for!

  • C/I Student Incubator Winners Presented at 2015 Social Media Week NYC and met the Reverend Jesse Jackson!

    Congratulations to the winners of the first ever C/I Student Incubator! The team of Detzani Campos, Sidi Fall, Oumar Koulibaly, Olenny Polanco, Ana Reyes and Moubarak Teouri competed a
    t C/I's Microsoft-hosted Hackathon in January and took home the prize for "Best Design." This allowed them to participate in a Student Incubator in which they had the opportunity to develop their app and pitch it for a competition to take part in the 2015 Social Media Week in Manhattan!

    The team's app: Know Your Neighbor or #KYN won first place and not only got to present their app to an audience at Social Media Week, but also got to meet Civil Rights Activist and Leader Reverend Jesse Jackson! During their presentation the hashtag #SMWDiversity was trending throughout the nation.

  • Pangaia Visits the Grey Advertising Group's Offices in Manhattan

    On February 25th, 2015 Pangaia students had the opportunity to visit the Grey Advertising Group in the Flatiron District of Manhattan.

    Students learned about what it takes to begin a career at an agency such as Grey, as well as how important it is for young people to invest their time in internships!

    Following a Question & Answer Session with a Grey Designer and Developer, Pangaia took a tour of the incredible Grey Offices!

  • 2015 NBA All-Star Game "One World, One Court" Promo Starring BXIHS Students!

    Bronx International Students Sidi Fall (11th Grade), Beaufis Kimpolo (12th Grade), and Mohammed Samoura (12th Grade) star in this video where 13 young basketball players from 13 different countries play an in-door pick up game and share their thoughts on the one language they all have in common - basketball.   • BXIHS Wins "Best Design" @ 2015 C/I Microsoft Hackathon!

    On Saturday, January 31, 2015 six Bronx International High School Students competed in the
    Camp/Interactive & Microsoft Hackathon.

    The topic was "Freedom of Speech" and their social media idea, "Free Your Thoughts" or #FYT took the prize for "Best Design!" During the month of February they will work at a Bronx Incubator space to further develop their idea!

    Congratulations to Olenny, Ana, Oumar, Sidi, Detzani, and Moubarak!
