City University of New York
The City University of New York is the nation's largest urban public university: 11 senior colleges, six community colleges, the CUNY Honors College, the Graduate School and University Center, the Graduate School of Journalism, the Law School and the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. The University serves more than 450,000 degree-credit students and adult, continuing and professional education students. College Now, the University's academic enrichment program for 32,500 high school offered at CUNY campuses and more than 200 high schools throughout the five boroughs of the City of New York. In 2006, the University is launching its first on-line baccalaureate degree through the School of Professional Studies and a new Teacher Academy offering free tuition for highly motivated mathematics and science majors who seek teaching careers in the city's public schools.

Internationals Network for Public Schools
The Internationals Network for Public Schools is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and support of the network of International High Schools that serve late-entry immigrant English Language Learners. Internationals currently supports eight small public high schools in New York City and has targeted national expansion over the next five years.

New Visions for Public Schools, founded in 1989, is the largest education reform organization dedicated to improving the quality of education children receive in New York City's public schools. Working with the public and private sectors, New Visions develops programs and policies to energize teaching and learning and to raise the level of student achievement.

SoBRO addresses all facets of community development: assisting businesses to get started and grow, training residents according to the needs of employers, offering opportunities for youth to grow and learn, and creating affordable housing and commercial space that reduces blight in the community.
